Nomi is an AI Dining Assistant operated by Keepsy Life LLC. Nomi helps users scan restaurant menus, understand dishes, identify preference and allergen-related notes, discover restaurants, and prepare ordering notes.

We collect information needed to provide, protect, and improve Nomi. This may include:

• Account information, such as email address and authentication identifiers.
• Preferences, such as language, allergies, dietary restrictions, ingredients to avoid, and taste preferences.
• Menu and scan data, such as photos users capture or upload, extracted menu text, dish names, descriptions, and scan results.
• Restaurant and order data, such as selected restaurants, dish choices, active orders, and saved or history data.
• Location data, including approximate or precise location when users use Nearby or Discover restaurant search.
• Device and usage data, such as app interactions, diagnostics, and logs necessary for reliability and security.
• Payment and subscription data, such as plan status and entitlement information. Payment card details are handled by Apple, the App Store, or another payment provider and are not directly stored by Nomi.

• Provide menu scanning and AI dish analysis.
• Show nearby restaurant results.
• Personalize recommendations and allergy or preference reminders.
• Generate ordering notes and Waiter Mode content.
• Maintain accounts, subscriptions, usage limits, and app security.
• Improve app reliability and user experience.

Menu images, extracted text, dish information, and relevant user preferences may be processed by backend services and AI providers to generate scan results and dining guidance.

Nomi may use third-party service providers such as Supabase, OpenAI or other AI providers, Google Places, Apple or App Store services, and hosting, analytics, or diagnostic providers as applicable. These providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy practices. We do not claim zero retention by third parties unless a provider explicitly guarantees it for the relevant service.

Location data is used to show nearby restaurant results and improve restaurant search. Nomi does not use location data for continuous background tracking. Users can disable location permissions in device settings, though some location-based features may not work without permission.

Nomi may help highlight possible allergen or dietary concerns, but it is not a medical service. AI-generated guidance may be incomplete or incorrect. Users with allergies or dietary restrictions should confirm ingredients and preparation directly with restaurant staff before ordering or consuming food.

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the app, comply with law, protect safety or security, or with user direction.

We retain information as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve safety and reliability. Users can request deletion of account or personal data.

• Users can revoke app permissions, including location or photo permissions, in device settings.
• Users can request account or data deletion.
• Depending on location, users may have rights to access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain data uses. Contact information will be added before launch.

Nomi is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where Keepsy Life LLC or its service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in a user's location.
